Children’s Worship Time

During Sunday morning worship, young children are invited to come forward during the service for a special lesson. Afterwards, they may go with the Director of Children’s Ministry to Children’s Worship or back to sit with their parents.

Children’s Worship at Asbury is a 30-minute period of time that serves the children. Each week, two adults are provided with a detailed lesson/plan when they accompany the children out of the sanctuary. This ministry is both impactful and fun. 

The United Methodist Church is committed to protecting children, youth, and vulnerable adults from abuse. Safe Sanctuaries^® is a “social structure that is consistent with the gospel” (¶122) allowing our sanctuaries, classrooms, mission encounters, camps and retreats, and all spaces where we gather to worship and serve God to be places of trust.

Vacation Bible School is held each summer in July. Our curriculum includes singing, Bible stories, and crafts.
